The work is consuming, between keeping the animals, the garden, the flowers and even the children watered! Lots of little friends have been visiting, Peter is quite happy!
I am thinking a lot about the upcoming breeding season, what ewes to breed to Earl (95.3%, Granby Mr Big son), to Hamish (92.93% dam is Elsa, sire is Earl) and what ewes will get the Swedish semen. I am really excited about these new genetics from Sweden.
The garden is plentiful although the heat has made it hard to stay on top of harvesting, watering and tending. I have been spending a lot of time inside with Peter and friends.
We have a lot of green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, and tomatoes if anybody is interested!
